Matshepo Pole LOSS CONTROL OFFICER-NAMIBIA (WINDHOEK)
This role is to utilize the optimum levels the resources available. Provide clients with the best possible service with minimum losses incurred. Compliance with Health and Safety Act. To maintain the integrity of the Company at all times. Ensure full productivity, short picks checked and damages removed from loads. Follow up with Transshipment depots regularly in order ensure there are no problems experienced with stock deliveries. To follow up on all leads pertaining to possible theft or losses towards the company or its clients. To visit delivery points and ensure that a high standard of service is maintained
Duties and Responsibilities
Consistently achieve established key performance indicators for productivity, accuracy in line with company laid down standards Ensure that all equipment is correctly handled and report any defects to your line manager Ensure that standard operating procedures and safe working conditions are being followed Ensure that stock are checked, picked and secured according to company policy Perform administrative tasks in line with company requirements "Compliance with statutory and company policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with statutory and company policies on:
• Health and Safety
• Employment Equity
• Labour relations
• Legislative
• Environmental issues
• Including regular monitoring to ensure these areas are maintained at a high level of compliance.
Maintain checking processes by doing daily spot checks Customer service levels as well as Client service levels and relationships maintained and continuously improved Ensure Stock control and accuracy is such that loss and damage of stock is kept to a minimum Visit clients delivery points to ensure all complaints and delivery queries are sorted timeously, to build a good working relationship with all receiving people at a store level in order to maintain a high
REQUIREMENTS
Educate to university degree level or equivalent professional qualifications
Matric
SAP /Military or Private Security qualifications/ experience
Good written and verbal communication skills
To co-ordinate resources available to maximise output and customer satisfaction
To co-ordinate movement stock out of the depot
Able to enforce health and safety procedures and identify hazards
Person should have a good understanding of service delivery and quality management
Person should be able to propose different solutions to problems- must be able to act on their own without being urged to do so.
People management
2-3 years in warehousing and/or Security environment
